What counts as a job?
One artwork through intake. Everything it takes to make that artwork production-ready — re-checks after repairs, corrected re-uploads, the review cycle — is included. A job never counts twice.
How does the free trial work?
Both plans start with a 14-day free trial — no card needed. If you don't subscribe by the end of it, the trial simply lapses: your data stays readable, new jobs pause. Nothing is ever charged silently.
Monthly or annual?
Both. Monthly is the default — try it properly before committing further. Annual billing gets you two months free and a single yearly invoice, and you can switch from monthly to annual at any time from the billing page.
Can we change or cancel later?
Yes. Upgrades, downgrades and cancellation are self-serve under Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the renewal at the end of the paid period, and your data stays accessible.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices exclude VAT. EU businesses can enter their VAT ID at checkout — invoices then apply the reverse-charge mechanism where it applies. US customers are billed in dollars at checkout.
Why publish prices at all?
Because quote-only is the industry default, and we think you should not need a sales call to learn what software costs. Enterprise volume is the only conversation that needs one.
Is the free check limited in what it reports?
No. It runs the same preflight and returns a Prepta Score. What it does not do is repair the file or produce a validated output. You can share the report; the PDF is never included.
Do we need to replace our prepress software?
No. Prepta sits before production and hands over a validated file. It does not replace a RIP, an MIS or a professional PDF editor.
